This and That. That and This.

After the Great Computer Fiasco of 2011, I considered getting a new MacBook. It's not that I WANT or need a new MacBook, but mine is slowing down and showing its age. It's from 2008 and I literally have time to make myself a cup of coffee including picking the beans off trees waiting for some of the programs to load. Instead we are going to upgrade my RAM, get a large external hard drive, and see if that moves me along a little.

I had to delete files off my hard drive just to download a song the other day. That's how dire it was.

Time for rapid fire random thoughts:

I try not to trust people on the internet. Not well enough to send them money, at least.

Is it okay to say "black" people or are we still doing the African American thing? What if they're German?

I have been immediately dismissing any "photography" business I see pop up on my Facebook. I have a DSLR too, and I know how it works, and I still take shitty pictures.

The Great Car Seat Vomit Fiasco is still being resolved. Yesterday Maggie picked up the vomit-soaked Glow-worm I had thrown in the Dirty Kitchen Towels pile on the floor and started singing, "Dooooo, doooo, dooooo!" When I shrieked and threw it away from her like a live grenade she threw herself on the floor and started crying "Doooooo, dooooo, doooooo!" She's so cute.

I'm dog sitting for our friends tonight. I'm not sure one of them is still alive. (Just kidding Amy, he's breathing every hour or so!) It was also weird changing a diaper on a dog and putting it in my Diaper Genie. You know how wet diapers are always warm? Yeah, his wasn't. Super weird, right?

Once we leave Sunday night for our fabulous Mediterranean cruise I will likely not blog again until we get back because I ain't wasting precious booze money on internet. It will be a very nice break.

I am so far fully enjoying being back at work and I'm pretty much working full time now. Maggie is doing great at day care except she hates going outside to play so she just sits outside and cries.

That's all! Bye-bye! Can you wave bye-bye?
